Starsky and Hutch spent the first month of Adam and Jeff's life huddled under the bed wondering what on earth had happened to their charmed life as rulers of the household. It didn't help that Hutch climbed the Christmas tree and knocked it over nearly every day that I was in the hospital with A&J. But she ended up loving both of them to the end of her life. Alas, kitties do suffer when babies arrive.
